TMC specializes in transportation planning and traffic engineering and provides services to private clients and public agencies throughout the State of Florida.
We are seeking a part-time HR Assistant to support our team with daily human resource activities. The position requires a general understanding of office operations and functions, intermediate level of proficiency in Word and Excel, and a basic understanding of payroll. Functions include assisting with recruiting, onboarding, training coordination, benefits administration and payroll processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the CFO
Timesheet Entry & Management
Payroll
Benefits Administration
Recruiting & Onboarding
Training & Development Coordination
Routine administrative services and support
Research as needed
Assist CFO with special projects
Qualifications/License
AA Degree
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Technical Skills
Intermediate level proficiency in MS-Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic understanding of QuickBooks Enterprise
Intermediate to intermediate proficiency in operating office equipment & company software
Knowledge of payroll practices, policies, and procedures
General understanding of required compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial requirements governing functional tasks and activities
Requirements

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, walk, bend and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
