Trinity University Hiring For Case Manager – Student Life/Dean of Students at San Antonio, TX  Full Time

Schedule
Maintaining and satisfying minimum attendance requirements are an essential requirement of this position, including working all full-time regular hours as established by the supervisor in addition to any scheduled or emergency overtime. 

Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manages cases, as assigned.
• Develops departmental core infrastructure including, but not limited to, policies and procedures, referral processes, recordkeeping, outreach content management, strategic planning, and assessment.
• Develops metrics and assessment strategies to evaluate effectiveness of intervention
• Uses University’s risk assessment protocols to ensure that student risk is addressed and provides direct crisis management services to students in distress.
• Cultivates resources and develops an outreach program on and off-campus for referral of students requiring long-term or specialized care.
• Attends and participates in weekly Student Success Team meetings.

Additional Duties:

• Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interacts with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies.
• Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines.
• Performs other duties as required. 

Supervision
Receives:

• Limited supervision.  Operates independently.

Experience
Required:

• Three years of experience working in a higher education setting on a Behavioral Intervention Team or in a Case Management capacity.
• Experience working in crisis intervention.

Preferred:

• More than 5 years of experience working in a higher education setting on a Behavioral Intervention Team or in a Case Management capacity.

Knowledge
Required:

• In-depth knowledge of community resources. 
• Knowledge and skills in problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and organization.

Education Requirements
Required:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Higher Education with a Counseling Track, or in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Mental or Behavioral Health, or related field.

Licenses and Certifications
Preferred:

• Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor.
