TRISTAR is seeking an HR Assistant (EEO) for our government customer located in Crane, IN with 3 days remote
Position Description:
This position supports the Human Resources Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) branch for our government customer
Tasks shall be related to the following: Providing informational support to employees, supervisors, and managers
Strict confidentiality is vital for this position
Position Responsibilities:
Position supports process improvement teams and special projects
Develops, prepares and maintains program reports for use in supporting the various programs and projects requiring strong/accomplished Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail is a must
Store records in accordance with our customer’s records management policy and practices
Support includes documenting processes, initiating and facilitating meetings, capturing metrics, coordination across various organizations including those external to our government customer
Prepares meeting presentation materials as needed, to include support of the audio visual and communication as needed for various meetings
Schedules meetings and preparing agendas and capturing meeting minutes upon completion of each event
Must understand how to redact sensitive PII Information
Gather Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) data and prepare reports of the same to Command and NAVSEA Enterprise
Maintain EEO case files in accordance with established records management guidelines
Position Requirement:
Minimum of 3-years of direct HR experience
Intermediate to advanced EXCEL, WORD, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, skills required
Ability to communicate with all levels of Command to ensure compliance with all requirements
Able to receive queries from on/off Center calls and/or email with attention to follow up research and response
Capability to coordinate with government officials, personnel and members of the community/public to support the various HR programs
Technical and administrative support of the audio visual and communication resources as needed for various HR programs
Acute attention to detail is a must
Ability to type 80-90 wpm
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a T3 Clearance
Additional Information Preferred:
Experience with the following systems for data entry and report generation:
Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), HR Link, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Total Workforce Management System (TWMS), Defense Injury and Unemployment Compensation System (DIUCS), Automated Query Systems (AQS), Automated Claimant System (ACS), Defense Civilian Pay Systems (DCPS), and E-comp
Education and Certification:
HS Diploma required, prefer BS in related field
