INTERSTATE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

The Interstate Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient pickup and delivery of products for customers across the United States. Operations planning and daily communication with customers confirming order status on inbound / outbound orders into our facilities, and consistent communication both internal and external on order status.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages interstate shipment orders combined with local pickup and delivery scheduling, with a focus on site requirements / equipment.
• Dispatches shipments to meet customer demands in the most efficient method possible.
• Coordinates orders throughout the day and communicates any order changes with driver/agents and customer service representative.
• Review of all inbound and outbound orders for requirements and provides timely updates in dispatch system.
• Responsible for working with operations staff on daily execution of orders to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Act as a facilitator for carrier problem resolution providing logistical solutions, rates or other business issues.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education And Experience

• Truckload Dispatch coordinator with minimum of 5 years’ experience dispatching interstate transportation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Ability to work additional hours on occasion as needed.
