Epic Implementation Specialist
This is a full-time, hourly, benefits eligible position. Travel among all UCHealth sites will be required. This position may be based in Fort Collins, Metro Denver or Colorado Springs. You must be able/willing to start no later than September 27, 2021. This is a PROJECT ONLY position with an anticipated end date of April 30, 2022.
The Implementation Specialist team provides on-site shoulder support for new users during Epic EHR Go Live projects at all UCHealth locations and affiliates in and around Colorado. Implementation Specialists are expected to complete a 90 day intensive training program designed to learn 4 Epic applications. Team members will be required to pass assessments for each Epic application. Upon completion of the program, team members will be assigned to provide expert level support. Team members will work in fast paced environments and are expected to provide professional support at all times. You will partner with analysts to complete necessary tasks related to the build, testing and go-live preparations.
Job Duties
• Assists with the installation of assigned systems.
• Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed assigned system(s).
• Generates reports as requested.
• Provides support and troubleshooting to end users. Documents end-user issues.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year relevant experience
Preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• 1 year healthcare or IT experience
• Strong customer service skills (ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner)
• Adaptability
The pay range for this position is between: $18.83/hour and $28.25/hour. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
