What you will do:
The HR Business Partner Field Service Center and Talent will serve as an integral thought partner accelerating problem-solving and driving business outcomes through human capital strategies within the AmeriGas business. In addition to supporting assigned client groups on all HR matters (including organizational design, engagement, performance, coaching, employee relations, etc.), the HRBP will partner with AmeriGas HR leadership team to build out programs that support the talent experience throughout the employee lifecycle. We are seeking an HR professional passionate about the art of possibility with the desire to design, develop and collaborate on innovative approaches to deploy human resource strategies that achieve real business results.

HR Business Partnering:
Build and maintain a strong working relationship and partnership with the business, HR leaders and other HR Business Partners; liaison with UGI HR Centers of Expertise (COE) for optimal client support
Execute on initiatives and day-to-day business support for assigned client groups. Activities include employee relations, retention, talent assessment, succession planning, organizational design, compensation planning (equity, bonus, merit), manager coaching, HR compliance and leadership development.
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Operate as a trusted advisor to leaders, serving as the expert on people and organizational issues
Understand the talent market landscape and implications for the workforce; translating this understanding into actionable strategies to attract, develop and retain talent
Possesses a strong legal comprehension of Federal and State laws (current and pending) in order to develop, implement & interpret policies often providing counsel to management on a variety of matters. Works closely with internal and external legal counsel as well as various internal departments to conduct investigations, ensure compliance with laws and minimize risks. Responsible for the administration of AmeriGas policies, processes, and systems; proactively works to maintain compliance with laws and regulations.
Talent & Employee Experience Management:
Partner with business leaders and HR leadership Team to design and deploy core HR programming that supports business objectives and positions AmeriGas for continued growth and optimal execution. Programs can include onboarding, employee value proposition, offboarding, engagement initiatives, capability building, core training, etc.
Assist in the translation of the business strategy into a talent strategy that embeds and reinforces a culture where associates are seen, heard, valued and have an equitable opportunity to succeed
Utilize core project management skills to develop, monitor and track progress against key HR initiatives and programs. This includes developing and presenting HR roadmaps, business cases, valuation analyses, and ongoing program metrics.
Leverage HR data (i.e., engagement surveys, hiring metrics, exit surveys) to help leaders identify, diagnose, and respond to people trends in their business; based on analyses, develop, and provide strategic recommendations on programs and HR initiatives
Partners with stakeholders across the company to implement organizational changes and deliver projects, systems and processes that will aid the business including acting as a change agent, assisting in developing a change management strategy and help in deploying action plans in alignment with strategic priorities and values.
