The Human Resources Manager understands that the key to a successful organization is a well-supported and fulfilled team. This role serves as a strategic partner towards getting the best out of our team- playing a key part in fostering an inclusive culture and working to ensure that all policies, programs, and initiatives promote belonging and optimize performance.
Main Outcomes of the Position:
Manages and administers the functions of the holistic employment lifecycle, including aspects of recruitment, onboarding, talent development, performance management, and crisis mitigation
Serves as a trusted advisor and counsel for managers and team members
Spearheads the development and internal communication of HR Policy and People matters
Manages the development of team retention and acquisition strategies, and coordinates engagement activities, programs, and initiatives
Promotes glue ideals, best practices, and culture to all corners of the company
Expectations
Interpret, analyze, and apply human resources policies and procedures and provide recommendations
Drive the performance management/leadership process through coaching, plan development, and mediation
Identify, recommend, and develop new approaches, policies and procedures that will bolster organizational culture and improve department functionality/capability
Oversight of FT recruitment process including job outline development, sourcing, pipeline building, coordinating and participating in interviews, and gathering documentation
Support in facilitating and resolving employee relations’ investigations
Serve as a member of the DEI Committees to support and improve the DEI strategy.
Manage the onboarding process, including EE background checks, new hire packets, scheduling of training sessions, issuing of equipment, etc.
Facilitate the off-boarding process; host exit-interviews and recommended actions, improvements
Assist employees with payroll and benefits inquiries as needed.
Work with Compensation and Benefits Team on all employee benefit programs (medical insurance, 401k, FSA, commuter benefits, etc.)
Respond to general benefits inquiries (including but not limited to Medical, Leave of Absences, 401k, etc.)
Collect and prepare data to create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Manage HRIS system
Participate in budgeting for Hiring plan
Provide monthly updates to Leadership on all People matters
Facilitate and drive the implementation of Organizational Design development, Career Pathing, Levels, and Recognition
Insure timely and continuous Internal Communications
Communicate all payroll changes to Payroll dept
Manage any visa and immigration law matters with counsel
Oversee the implementation of mandatory trainings and courses
Foundation / Position Requirements: Skills, experience, certifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a human resources function with progressive responsibility across multiple disciplines
PHR or SHRM-CP Preferred
Ability to proactively establish rapport, credibility and influence.
Strong knowledge of core event production elements, terms, and process.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work graciously in a fast-paced environment juggling many concurrently ongoing conversations
Ability to work with diplomacy and tact
Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency and act responsively
Previous supervisory experience
Salary Range: $95,000 – $110,000 annual salary, DOE
