As a Human Resource Coordinator
As the HR Coordinator at Unicity International, you are likely the first person an employee or guest will meet. In this role, each day will never be the same so the ability to be adaptable to change is a must. The HR Coordinator will provide a variety of human resource services to our HR leaders, managers, supervisors and employees. This position will be required to also complete receptionist/front desk responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Manage front desk responsibilities such as phone calls, mail/packages and assisting guests/visitors.
Support the administration of employee policies and procedures.
Conduct employee orientations
Prepare new employee files through our HRIS.
Complete onboarding processes such as I9’s, payroll paperwork, benefits enrollment etc.
Assist with maintenance of employee files in our HRIS
Coordinate employee events and community events as they happen.
Oversee employee recognition programs.
Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Assist recruiting team with background and drug screening of new hires.
Reconciles benefits statements and ensure that they are paid in a timely manner.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Assist the Human Resource leadership team in any day to day activities.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Ability to establish trust and credibility with the leadership team.
