Unifi Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Atlanta Metropolitan Area Full Time

Unifi Aviation is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will manage shipping requests, work closely with station leaders, and manage carrier bidding process. We are looking for someone who is highly organized and can help improve our logistics processes and problem solve when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Executing the shipping process to ensure on-time, cost-optimized, efficient delivery of goods, services and components as per identified demands and requirements
• Managing shipping processes and ensuring delivery reliability
• Solicits bids, analyzes quotations received and selects recommended suppliers
• Manage RFP process and work toward a competitive bidding model
• Acts as liaison with vendors and internal customers
• Receives and evaluates bids from various suppliers
• Prepares purchase recommendations with complete commercial evaluations
• Coordinates with Station Manager and GSE Regional Managers for the expediting and delivery of goods to the stations.
• Receive questions from end-users via telephone calls, emails, and in person visits and routes these requests accordingly
• Supports other commodity procurement functions within the group
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 5+ years in the logistics environments, aviation is a plus.
• Ability to use standard office equipment
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP software
• Thorough working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Must be able to travel on occasion.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’ s Degree or Strong Relative Professional Experience
