The Analyst of Digital Fleet Management is responsible for developing and implementing innovate predictive alerting and health monitoring solutions for United’s fleet of assets (aircraft, engines and other capital assets). The Analyst will dive into technical details of system design and recommend novel uses of asset data to improve reliability by predicting when a system will fail and ensuring maintenance teams can fix issues before they cause operational disruptions. The Analyst will be a key member of a working team of engineering subject matter experts, maintenance personnel and data scientists to develop use cases following United’s Predictive Alerting Committee process to ensure solutions are fully vetted before going operational. The Analyst will ensure applicable solutions fit into United’s Integrated Asset Health Monitoring program for their fleet area of focus (aircraft, engines or other assets), ensuring any regulatory requirements are addressed as necessary. The Analyst will regularly monitor the performance of existing predictive alerts and recommend retraining or redesign as required.
