About the Position…
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to support various HR activities for the organization. This position will focus on the HR Disciplines of: Employee Relations, On-Boarding/New Employee Orientation, Payroll, Leaves of Absence Management, Performance Management, HR File Compliance, Recruiting and other areas under the HR arena. The HRBP will work closely with the HR Director on updating the Employee Handbook at least annually to ensure compliance with all employment laws and HR related best practices to reduce our level of risk associated with HR related activities. The HRBP will ensure that all new hire orientations are effective and timely, as well as ensuring that all new personnel files are complete and properly maintained. As confidentiality of HR related matters is paramount to the success of the bank, the HRBP will assure that all HR related matters are held in strict confidence. The HRBP will also perform a variety of daily tasks and projects and will assist the HR Director with special projects including mergers and acquisitions as needed. The HRBP will ensure that employees are assisted promptly, courteously, efficiently and professionally at all times. In addition, the HRBP will perform all duties accurately, timely, efficiently and according to policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.

You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment. You also have the following:
Education/Certification: Bachelors degree in human resources or related field.
Required Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of federal and state human resources policies and procedures. Understanding of banking regulations and standard banking practices and/or ability to learn and quickly assimilate to the organization.
Experience Required: Minimum of 7 to 12 years in a HR Business Partner role, preferably in a financial institution.
