Full Job Description
We are seeking a medical records administrative assistant for our Canton Rehabilitation and Senior Care facility.
The main responsibilities of this position are to maintain all census changes at the facility and assist with ICD-10 diagnosis coding. The ability to enter new admissions into the appropriate software system for the Skilled Nursing Facility as well as the Assisted Living Program.
Other responsibilities include setting up new admissions medical charts, while maintaining, filing, and organizing all current and past residents’ charts. Among the other clerical responsibilities, you will be responsible for sending letters to families according to your assignment as well as updating information on residents in the software system and initiating medical certifications for physician signatures.
