United Methodist Communities is currently seeking an AP/Payroll Bookkeeper – HR Assistant for Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. Bristol Glen, Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is a thoughtfully designed and meticulously maintained 75 acre campus providing exceptional options for senior care living.
Responsibilities for AP/Payroll Bookkeeper – HR Assistant position:
- Collects, prepare and enter all manual payroll entries for administrative and salary associates into punch detail for UKG/Dimensions system, i.e. missed punches, PTO hours and daily department manager corrections. Prepares bi-weekly payroll. Transmit bi-weekly payroll to Home Office. Files appropriate payroll documentation by pay period. Distributes paychecks. Transcribes salaried associate information from email to punch detail.
- Runs completed and verified payroll reports and various other reports for the Executive Director and Department Managers
- Updates attendance cards on a daily basis. Completes a variety of personnel forms for processing.
- Reviews, codes/distributes vendor invoices for approval and posts A/P. Processes check requisitions. Forwards coded and signed invoices to Home Office for payment. Researches, investigates and resolves A/P matters. Follows up on billing e.g. late payments, refund, etc. Maintains A/P logs on a daily basis; records all transactions in appropriate ledgers. Maintains A/P files.
- Maintains petty cash accounts and completes required quarterly reports.
- Provide support to the Associate Resource Director with Human Resources recruiting/onboarding functions including: reference checks for applicants, scheduling appointments for paperwork and new hire screenings, preparing new hire packets, completing status notices, FMLA paperwork and various yearly projects.
