Overview

United Soft Plastics, Inc. is seeking an experienced and resourceful Associate HR Generalist, with a broad knowledge of HR procedures and policies. The Associate HR Generalist will have both administrative and strategic duties related to staffing, training, employee development, as well as compensation and benefits. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the hiring process including candidate sourcing & selection, working with department leads to ensure appropriate fit
• Handle administrative tasks related to onboarding, employee relations, and separation, including maintaining employee records and working with state agencies when necessary
• Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence, conduct and conflict, grievance matters, organizational change, or other employee relations matters
• Ensure legal compliance to state/federal regulations and applicable employment laws, update policies and/or procedures as required
• Negotiate and maintain benefits, including health insurance, 401K plans, life insurance and other offered benefits
• Oversee annual employee evaluation process ensuring equitable pay structures and ensuring evaluations are unbiased and fair in nature

Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in Human Resources AND a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Additional HR training & certifications are a plus but not required
• Strong knowledge of local employment laws, HR procedures and policies
• Excellent communication, organization, and people skills
• Desire to drive improvement and innovation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,000.00 – $66,000.00 per year
