The Sales Enablement Specialist is responsible for supporting the Optum Specialty and Infusion Sales teams with strategic communication, systems organization/oversite, and vendor relations. This role is responsible for managing and enhancing systems used by the sales teams to work effectively in the field. They will manage creative aspects within Sales Enablement including, but not limited, to design and organization of the department’s SharePoint site, enhancing PowerPoint presentations for leadership and minor design work for internal and external meetings. This role partners with Marketing and works closely with sales leadership. In coordination with the overall department, the SE Specialist will support sales meeting, at various levels of complexity, to create inclusive events that support/enhance the organization’s culture. While this role works independently, the team works closely to achieve initiatives, with customer service at the forefront. The successful candidate must have the ability to work in a complex organization and adjust to changing priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of Brainshark platform to include, but not limited to ensuring appropriate system organization and functionality to support the sales teams; driving system adoption by understanding leadership expectations, creating strategies to increase usage, and providing regular reporting to show increase in adoption
• Oversee and enhance the sales SharePoint page including design and maintaining updated information, working with all sales divisions and internal partners to identify enhancements
• Develop an ongoing relationship with fulfillment vendor to ensure Service Level Agreement is being met, maintaining inventory levels and budget/spending oversight
• Partner with vendors to suggest new promotional items for the sales teams
• Monitoring tradeshow collateral, creating an escalation process for timely return of materials
• Ability to create/enhance meaningful and impactful PowerPoint presentations on a wide subject matter with minimal direction
• Maintains strong relationships with sales VPs and Regional Sales Directors to understand goals, challenges, and field-based business model
• Supports National Sales Meeting and other department events with design elements and administrative duties. Design elements include name badges, signage, etc.
• Works independently and is largely self-directed, however must be willing to take on responsibilities outside of their day-to-day tasks
• Impact the role has on the business (e.g., team, division, segment, market wide)

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in matrixed sales and marketing environment with a general business acumen
• 1+ years of client facing or customer service experience
• 1+ years of experience using Adobe or other design software
• Intermediate to Advanced level of experience creating MS Power Point Presentations
• Demonstrated ability to maintain SharePoint page enhancements, content, and reporting features
• Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of Brainshark platform to include system organization, functionality, and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Proven excellent communicator with the ability to work independently as well as in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience selling brand and usage
• Experience managing and tracking inventory
• Experience managing vendor relationships
• Demonstrated ability to influence, persuade, and drive cohesive

Soft skill:

• Solid problem resolution experience
