Summary of Job Duties:
The Assistant Professor of
Nursing is a 9-month, tenure-track, full-time faculty position. This position requires teaching undergraduate and graduate courses;
conducting research leading to high-impact peer-reviewed publications and presentations; supervising students’ scholarly activities such as
undergraduate honors research, master’s thesis, and Doctor of Nursing Practice scholarly project; and serving professional organizations,
the department, College, and university.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the
ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
The position reports to the Executive
Director of the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing in the College of Education and Health
Professions.
