Position Summary:
This recruitment is for a Temporary Recruiter (Employment Representative III) position through UCI’s internal temporary service.
Under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager for UCI Medical Center Human Resources, the Temporary Recruiter (Employment Representative III) will work in partnership with hiring leaders, senior leadership, and talent leadership to provide strategic talent consulting to business leaders and ensure effective delivery of services to clients. Develops and implements recruitment strategies across the organization to successfully attract a high-quality workforce. Partners with hiring leaders to determine strategies for acquiring needed talent and assists with complex hiring situations. Incumbent cultivates strong professional networks and maintains a strong knowledge of the current job market. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with colleagues and clients. Interviewing skill to assess an individual’s qualifications quickly and accurately for a position. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System. Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience using of a variety of sourcing techniques, including social networking, internet, and other database searches. Working knowledge of current talent acquisition best practices. Majority of work will be performed remotely. Training will be located on-site at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Compensation Range: starting at $40/hr.
Required Skills:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a recruiter in a dynamic environment.
* Technical skills sufficient to effectively use MS Word, Excel, HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems, internet sourcing systems.
* Working knowledge of regulations, statutes and laws related to recruitment and employment.
* Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience & training.
Preferred Skills:
* Previous experience working in Talent Acquisition in a Healthcare environment
* Recent experience with PeopleSoft Talent Acquisition Management Systems.
* Current PHR or SPHR Certification
