The Office of University Compliance (OUC) promotes a culture of compliance and ethics across the University, including all UConn Health
locations. The OUC supports the University’s commitment to compliant and ethical conduct by providing educational training and
resources, assisting decentralized compliance areas with monitoring efforts, and offering channels for individuals to ask questions and
report concerns. The OUC Policy team supports coordinated policy management to enhance efficiency, transparency, communication, and
accountability.
The OUC is seeking a dynamic and team-oriented Policy Coordinator (PC) with a keen eye for detail to join its growing
Policy team. The PC will provide integral support and coordination to policy management functions, primarily at UConn Health. This is a
newly created position best suited for individuals interested in creating innovative and solution-focused approaches to policy management
and program building that supports quality patient care and safety. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Policy, the PC will guide all
aspects of the policy management process and will engage in the coordination of strategic efforts with policy at UConn Health. The
PC will serve as a resource to the policy management process for healthcare policies, procedures, and other standards documents throughout
their lifecycle, which includes development, review, revision, decommissioning and archiving, as needed. The PC will provide support to
ensure regulatory and accreditation requirements are met, provide training and education, and create best-practice strategies to enhance the
policy program. The successful candidate will be motivated by creating meaningful change, thrive alongside a collaborative team, and must
excel at effective communication.

This is a full-time position working forty hours per week, Monday through Friday. Expected
travel to offices on the Farmington and Storrs campuses. Telecommuting on a hybrid basis is allowed subject to authorization and University
policy.
