Multimedia Producer II
The Office of University Communications seeks a multimedia producer to work in a collaborative team environment writing, producing, shooting and editing video in support of the University’s electronic marketing and media communications efforts. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, providing advanced-skilled services in the area of media production e.g. creative concept development, storyboarding, shooting and editing video as well as producing high-quality animations, special effects and motion graphics.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in media technology or related field, and experience in specific applied areas; four to five years of professional experience in video production; demonstrated experience in one or more of the following (or equivalent) video editing/graphics applications: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and/or related animation software; demonstrated experience with DSLR and camcorder video production, including the ability to achieve high-quality lighting and audio acquisition; ability to interact constructively with production team members and clients; demonstrated ability to generate creative concepts and translate them into effective multimedia initiatives; knowledge of multimedia technology as it relates to social media and mobile platforms, including the ability to select and produce the appropriate outputs; demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Other Desirable Qualifications: Advanced degree in related field; knowledge of animation and complex motion graphics production; knowledge of the technical and creative aspects of still photography; knowledge of drone piloting for video and photo acquisition; knowledge of audio recording, mixing, and mastering; technical experience in video hosting and streaming media solutions; familiarity with web accessibility guidelines (e.g., Americans with Disabilities Act), as well as copyright issues.
APPOINTMENT
