The Admissions and Transfer Center (ATC) offers a dynamic, fast pace work environment including telephone triage and digital media. In the ATC you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that assists outside providers in transferring their critically ill patients and University Physicians to admit their ill patients to the appropriate unit for their specific care needs. You’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology, such as telemedicine for stroke patients, telemedicine for consultations, and shared electronic medical records between facilities.
Characteristic Duties of our Staff Nurses include but are not limited to:
Percent of Time: 60%
Schedule: Evening hours primarily Sat and Sun 1100-2330, occasional day/night hours, included in holiday rotation.
Salary: $60,000 minimum at 100% effort to commensurate. Salary will be based on years of experience and percent effort.
Location: HSSB
Hybrid within Iowa: This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
