What You’ll Do
The Director of Special Events leads Upbring’s special events, which are designed to engage, cultivate, and steward existing and prospective donors. This position is responsible for all aspects of planning, managing, coordinating, and execution of these special events, such as galas, golf tournaments, and donor stewardship and appreciation events, to advance the Agency’s mission in communities throughout the state of Texas. The position also takes the lead role on organizing stewardship and engagement events targeted to select constituents, such as foundations, corporations, or legacy donors. Upbring is classified as an essential business by the state because the services we provide are critical to the wellbeing of thousands of children and families. Our Upbring staff members are servant-leaders in the pursuit of breaking the cycle of child abuse and empowering others to do the same through example while embodying our core values: We are Warriors.
