At The GS-11

To qualify for this position at the GS-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:

• Obtaining, tracking, analyzing, or disseminating data; and,
• Coordinating and delivering preparedness training courses or exercises; and,
• Evaluating program plans for compliance with established emergency management directives, regulations, policies, laws, standards, guidance, etc.

OR

Education Substitution: Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree in a related field or LL.M., if related.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience.

At The GS-12

To qualify for this position at the GS-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:

• Analyzing data to support program analysis; and,
• Coordinating and delivering preparedness training courses and exercises; and,
• Evaluating programs for compliance with established emergency management directives, regulations, policies, laws, standards, guidance, etc.
