Summary
This position is located in the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation, Office of the Executive Director, General Services Division (ISN/EX/GSD). This office provides combined administrative and executive support to the three bureaus located under the Undersecretary for International Security. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for planning and conducting special studies and program and management analysis.

Duties
Applies generally accepted management principles and practices as reflected in the Departmental management guidelines.
Plans and conducts special studies of the administrative management aspects of sensitive situations identified by the Bureau, Department, or external audit organizations.
Develops a system of recording, tracking, and controlling the allocation of resources within the Bureau and designs documentation indicating the details of each allocation.
Attends meetings, briefings, and conferences in the capacity of a liaison.
Serves as a member of ad hoc committees and study groups both internally and externally to Department of Services.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience drafting reports of findings and offers recommendations for improvements in the organization’s structure.
Experience presenting management officials with proposed organizational designs.
Experience with processes for establishing or revising functional statements and organization charts.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
