The Dornsife Business Office at the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences is looking for a Workday Client Specialist (Home Department Payroll/Personnel Coordinator I). As a Workday Client Specialist, you will serve as an integral member of our payroll team in processing payroll for the college’s faculty, staff and students. The position will liaise closely with the business office Operations Managers and other business units to deliver top-notch customer service to the departments with regards to all payroll related matters.
This candidate should have at least two (2) years of high-volume payroll experience, preferably with a related educational background. The right candidate thrives in a diverse, high-volume and fast-paced environment and possesses creative and analytical problem-solving skills. Proven experience with payroll including a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices, knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field, trustworthy attention to confidentiality, outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail, excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills are also essential. Knowledge of and experience in Workday software as well as an academic environment is preferred but not required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION pertinent to this specific position:
This position is full-time, non-exempt / 37.5 hours per week.
Required work hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday
Salary range: $25 – $29 per hour – DOE
Flexible remote (work from home) available.
