Villa St. Francis Hiring For Caregiver Scheduler | Full-time, at Milwaukee, WI  Full Time

Hours: 10:00am-6:30pm
Villa St. Francis is a Felician Sisters sponsored faith based, non-profit Assisted Living community in Milwaukee seeking an experienced, Full-time Scheduler, reporting to the Director of Resident Care. We are seeking candidates to maintain caregiver scheduling and workflow who share our mission & commitment for enhancing the lives of our residents. Job Duties:

• Create and post Resident Care Assistant (RCA) schedules including and not limited to:
  • Monthly master schedules at least 15 days prior to the start of the upcoming month
  • Weekly schedules at least 3 days prior to the start of the upcoming week
  • Up to date daily schedules prior to the start of the next day
• Act as the primary on-call 24 hours/day for staff call-ins.  This includes finding a replacement and if a replacement can’t be found, working on the unit as a RCA to fill the hole in the schedule
• Respond to any RCA scheduling questions or concerns in a professional, timely manner
• Track staff attendance and call-off’s
• Serve as primary contact for outside agencies to fulfill staffing needs for Villa St. Francis.  Presents a professional demeanor with agency contacts and staff to ensure a smooth transition to their work at VSF
• Serve as a back-up RCA staff to provide care to residents as necessary
• Manage inventory and order medical and office supplies
• Assist with the filing of facility documentation including filing documents in resident charts,  and collecting, logging, and filing documents such as resident monthly vitals, narcotic count sheets, and fridge temp checks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• 1-3 years of  experience in a health care setting, CBRF setting with trainings preferred
• Prefer minimum 1-year staffing/scheduling experience in assisted living, hospital, or similar with 24/7 operation
• CBRF certification preferred
• Training in medication administration
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze an issue, identify options, and implement solutions
• Proficient data entry and computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Bilingual preferred
