HR Information Systems Specialist – (People Experience Information Systems)
Volvo Cars is seeking a dynamic HRIS Specialist in our new state of the art automotive assembly plant.
This role is part of our HR Team, which is referred to as People Experience at Volvo Cars
Located outside of Charleston, SC, this key role will support hourly and salary team members in our HRIS as well as perform data analytics as we prepare for the expansion of the plant and launch of our second vehicle, the next generation XC90. We are seeking a candidate that has previous HR systems experience with a broad generalist foundation.
Key responsibilities for this role are
Manages the HRIS system and processes Team Member transactions (new hires, promotions, organizational management, etc.).
Responsible for local and global headcount reporting, including analyzing data trends.
Participates in local and global HR projects and process improvement activities.
If you are up to the challenge, we are looking for the following skills
Four year degree in Human Resources or a related field. HR Certification (PHR/SPHR or the SHRM equivalent) is preferred.
A minimum of at least 2 – 4 years previous Generalist experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
Previous experience with high volume recruitment is preferred.
Prior experience with ADP, SAP HCM, and SuccessFactors is required.
