Position Description
Mission/Purpose of the Position
The Logistics Development Engineer position is part of the Transport Flow Optimization (TFO) Americas team within the SML Operations Excellence (OE) organization. The mission of the TFO Americas team is to design and continuously optimize the end-to-end transportation network from material suppliers to dealers and customers. Our work is intellectually challenging, cross-functional in nature, and has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and the performance of our service market supply chain. The Logistics Development Engineer will strive to secure improvements in the transport network with a focus on parts availability at the right place and time for customer use.

This position reports to the Head of Transport Flow Optimization Americas and is based in Greensboro, NC.
