Essential Functions
Work in partnership with business leaders to manage the ongoing Human Resource needs of each business area.
Serve as the liaison between Human Resource COEs to meet respective business goals and objectives in the areas of hiring/retaining and developing a highly engaged and enabled workforce.
Manage and direct staff in the execution of goals and objectives within both Human Resources and assigned business areas.
Make recommendations to Human Resource Leadership for improvements or strategic changes in all areas of Human Resources that will increase the company’s ability to attract, retain, engage and enable talent.
Partner with the leadership team to increase overall workforce productivity through improved retention, attraction, and utilization of talent, ensuring the organization has a continuous supply of high-performing employees.
Strategic advisor to business executives on organizational, people, and administrative issues.
Develop strategies to effectively identify, manage and ensure THE adoption of key changes without loss of employee productivity or engagement.
Oversee the creation and management of targeted programs and systematic processes for employee training, development, performance management, and succession planning to ensure talent management is ongoing and is aligned with business strategy.
Develop and execute programs that encourage the behaviors that hold employees accountable for displaying cultural competencies and related behaviors.
Partner with acquisition teams to determine cultural alignment during mergers and acquisitions.
Partner with LOB leaders to facilitate the development of strategic and tactical integration plans. Develop training strategies for each LOB to ensure engaged, aligned, nd productive employees.
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field or equivalent experience
Ten years of experience with clear progression to senior leadership/management roles, leading and motivating cross-functional interdisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals
Experience in human resources management and several HR functional areas, preferably in a corporate environment
Comprehensive Organization Development and Change Management
Comprehensive knowledge of employment law
Comprehensive knowledge of policy development and compensation plans
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex employee relations issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to trave
