Full Job Description
As a member of the organic social media team your role is key in assisting the team drive the engagement of the Walgreens social communities and develop positive brand loyalty. You will collaborate with the team to brainstorm, publish, and pull insights. We are looking for an avid social media user who knows how to apply online best practices to foster online relationships through our social channels. In this role, you will work cross functionally among many teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports community management efforts through posting, responding to messages and engaging with followers
- Translates brand or business needs to our online communities
- Provides social listening insights reports via Sprinklr platform
- Keeps a pulse on social trends to identify opportunities by daily observations and engagement within the social media platform
- Collaborates with team in content brainstorm sessions monthly for each social media platform
- Assist with maintaining editorial calendar
- Assist in preparing social creative briefs for approval

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree OR High School/GED and at least 3 years of marketing or advertising experience
- Experience managing social media accounts over 100k followers
- Knowledge of tools, techniques for collecting, collating, and analyzing information about existing or potential markets and market needs
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Experience with working on all social media platforms existing and emerging
- Experience with working on MS Office Suite
- Willing to travel up to or at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field such as marketing, communications, or business administration
- Experience with copywriting
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization
- Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work or projects to other members of a team
- Experience working with project or campaign budgets
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers andor print scaling)
- Experience working with or for an agency
