The County Administrative Office is currently conducting a search for a Government Relations Manager. The Government Relations Manager provides professional government relations and legislative advocacy. The individual in this position will strategize, advise, and manage complex and sensitive policy and legislative issues; perform detailed legislative analysis; develop persuasive communication and storytelling plans to support advocacy efforts; and provide input and recommendations on a variety of legislative and intergovernmental issues that impact County operations and policies. Additionally, this position will testify, in writing and in person, on behalf of the County to the legislature and other governing bodies and will participate in local, regional, and state meetings.
This position can work remotely 3-4 days a week.
