Full Job Description
Assist management team and staff employees in administering a human resource service program. Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations.
Duties include but are not limited to: all employee data entry excluding benefits, longevity accruals, and restoration of benefits for rehires.
Review new hire packets, conduct background checks, make conditional offers, complete all data entry for new hires.
Sends reports as requested, budget monitoring, handles FMLA and Worker’s Comp claims.
Considerable public contact with other agencies, providers, colleges, etc. in person, by phone or computer and at job fairs and other public functions all requiring skills in verbal and written communication.
Serve as back-up for Benefits coordinator and other HR duties as necessary to ensure continued work-flow in the HR Department.
High School Diploma or GED, some college preferable
Must have a valid Texas Driver License and a driving record that is acceptable for insurability through WTC insurance carrier
Must pass background check and drug screening
Experience with Excel, Word and payroll processing programs
