Western Building Group, LLC has an exciting career opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our team as the Human Resource Manager. The HR Manager provides guidance and support to management and employees in cultivating the Company’s Core Values.

Job Description:

The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, off-boarding, benefits administration, training, and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with hiring managers on screening candidates, participating in interviews and the selection process.
• Facilitates the onboarding process to provide a welcoming environment and acclimation to the company, reviewing key company information and policies.
• Coordinates the off-boarding process for employee separations.
• Manages and resolves employee relations issues.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
• Keeps the company in compliance with EEO, ADA, FMLA, COBRA, 401(k) laws.
• Conducts training on company policies and procedures, and assists with updates as needed. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Communicates the company benefits programs to maximize employee awareness and understanding of offerings. (Health, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD, 401k, COBRA)
• Coordinates open enrollment, new enrollment, life events, elections and other changes to employee benefit plan participation.
• Coordinates leaves of absence and worker’s compensation claims while facilitating the communication and administration of these programs with employees.
• Unemployment Claims Administration
• Fosters positive employer branding, maintains external advertising and posting on job boards, recruiting across multiple states in accordance with law for a variety of positions
• Maintain Employee Records
• Provide managers the tools to communication, give feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees who report to them.
• Manages partnerships with occupational health facilities in multiple states
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 5-7 years progressive HR experience
• Thorough knowledge in employment law, regulatory compliance, employee relations, and training, is highly preferred.
• OSHA, DOT and 1095 experience highly preferred
• SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred but not required
• Self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with all levels of the organization.
• Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Construction background preferred
• Ability to work full-time, in-office, Monday through Friday, 40+ hours/week.
• Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
• Remote work is not available for this position.
• Currently this position is being recruited for the Mesa, AZ office or the Lindon, UT office.
