Here at Logiq, we are reimagining every aspect of automotive air suspension including the compressors, tanks, electronic components, and the springs themselves. As we continue to grow at a rapid rate, we are looking to add skilled engineers to our team in beautiful San Luis Obispo, California.

Job Summary:

In this position, your role is to execute DFM (Design For Manufacturing) and Tooling Design in the field of advanced automotive air suspension by playing a lead role in various development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Play a leading role in development projects with a focus on optimizing manufacturability often including injection molding, casting, forging, and extrusion.

• Prepare and conduct design reviews for your engineering projects as necessary.
• Design parts in SolidWorks and creating high level outputs for manufacturing (including GD&T).
• Work closely with tooling vendors to optimize tooling designs.
• Perform numerous other duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject.
• 5 years minimum experience in similar field of work.
• 3-5 years of experience using SolidWorks.
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in Abaqus or other software preferred

Pay: $85,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
