Summary
The Service Material Coordinator (SMC) will arrange and accelerate the flow of equipment, materials, parts, assemblies, and other items according to technician schedules or client priorities. Will compile and keep equipment/material manuals or computerized records. Checks technician schedules, project related information and confirm with others team members to determine requirements for project. Identify overdue materials and track materials for both jobs and vehicle truck stock. Keeps internal inventory records accurate and up to date.

Job duties:

• Verify job information, approve, and process Purchase Orders in Service Titan.
• Change or update material order statuses in Service Titan.
• Processing warranties and returns with our Williams warehouse. This also includes material returns and credit tracking with approved vendors.
• Tool inventory and truck inventory management.

• Safety equipment coordination.
• Visual audit of staged material.
• Backup for other office roles within Service Department such as Technician Support Specialist, and sometimes the Client Support Specialist.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Communicate and provide information for supervisors, peers, or team members by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Some knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment of the plumbing trade. (Preferred)
• Active Listening. Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, retaining and applying guidance and directions.
• Proficient with software and company platforms such as Microsoft.

• Strong adherence to key company processes.
• Good at making decisions and problem solving.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Continually working near moving mechanical parts in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Requires functional manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.

• Must be able to quickly move arms and legs.
• Environmental fluctuations in temperatures based on Montana’s seasonal changes.
• Open office space and warehouse with flowing traffic that may have moments of increased noise and distraction.

Special Requirements: Must possess (with an appropriate record), or can obtain, a valid state driver’s license prior to employment.
