Position: Human Resources Assistant / Recruiter
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Human Resources Assistant supports the Human Resources department with recruitment initiatives, onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel files, participating in new hire orientation, and performing reference checks. Other duties may be assigned. This position will be actively involved in the recruitment and sourcing of candidates to fill open positions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Maintains employee records, performs local recruiting initiatives, and employee onboarding, and participates in new employee orientation
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties to include, but are not limited to, recruitment, pre-employment screening, record keeping, and being a point of contact for employees, managers, and visitors
Represents Wilson County Motors in Job Fairs/Hiring Events/Local Staffing Initiatives
Create and implement highly effective social media campaigns for recruiting new talent
Generate scheduled employment reports
Schedule Receptionists’ ensuring the receptionist desk is properly staffed
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security with sensitive data
Other tasks and duties as assigned

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The Human Resources Assistant will typically work in an office environment working with a laptop computer and communicate using the phone, text messaging, and email. The position will be working in a professional business setting while sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. Additionally, the position will be walking to various departments within the dealership, visiting our Hyundai dealership in Lebanon, TN, and will be able to lift up to 20 LBS.
