Winco Window Company is looking for a Full-Timeull Time Human Resources Generalist. We are a family-owned and operated manufacturing company located in an industrial setting. The Human Resource Generalist will support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resource department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Recruiting: work with the various hiring managers in all aspects of the recruiting process through onboarding, utilizing ADP’s Recruitment module
- Retention: Follow up with our Supervisors on Temporary Employees progress
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- Maintain weekly production reports and point policy
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- May serve as a backup to the receptionist as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
2-5 years of ADP Workforce Now HR preferred
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related experience required.
- Previous experience in Human Resources required
- Prior experience in the Manufacturing field is a plus
- Prior recruiting experience is a plus
- Prior related office experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Exposure to both office and shop environments
- In the office prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer in an air-conditioned environment.
- In the shop prolonged periods of standing and walking in a non-air-conditioned environment.
- Bending or kneeling to maintain files
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
