The City of Riverside is accepting applications for the position of Workforce Development Officer* to fill one (1) vacancy in the Training & Organizational Development Division. The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months.
This is an exciting opportunity to create and implement a new community-based internship program that supports the City’s vision of attracting, developing and retaining a highly skilled local workforce to expand job opportunities in the region and position the city as a location of choice for business.
Under general direction, perform supervisory and/or lead supervisory professional human resources work in the development, implementation, and administration of the City’s human resources program, and to do related work as required.
*Workforce Development Officer is a working title. Actual job description being used is Principal Human Resources Analyst.
Typical duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
For the current vacancy in the Workforce Development Division:
Experience: Five years of professional Human Resources experience equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst with the City of Riverside.
Option III:
Experience: Seven years of professional Human Resources experience equivalent to a Human Resources Analyst with the City of Riverside.
