The Opportunity:

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate in a crucial sector of our company. As the Director of Carrier Operations, you will manage various transport modes, including intermodal, LTL, drayage, truckload, final mile, and expedited logistics. Your expertise will be essential in optimizing carrier operations to enhance efficiency and service quality, particularly in managing cross-border operations where proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

What You’ll Do:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for diverse carrier operations to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless integration across various logistics channels.
• Carrier Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key carriers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service standards.
• Innovative Solutions: Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and foster continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a remote team in managing carrier relationships and operational strategies.
• Ensure operational excellence in multi-modal transportation solutions, including cross-border logistics.
• Engage in high-level negotiations and strategic decision-making to enhance carrier partnerships.
• Maintain a high level of industry knowledge and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in logistics management, with expertise in managing multi-modal transport operations.
• Proficiency in Spanish is highly beneficial for managing cross-border communications and operations.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
