The B2C team is on a mission to build closer relationships with our customers. Our team is responsible for helping the customer transition from a digital experience to a real world experience (e.g., finding an agent). We develop the go-to-market approach for Zillow’s frontline teams with a focus on defining, executing, and optimizing the customer experience through all touchpoints with a Zillow frontline employee. We are responsible for managing the current buyer and seller funnels as well as deciding what to build for the future. Great insights and ideas come from all over the organization. It is our role to take those insights and ideas and turn them into programs that deliver results.
We are looking for an experienced program leader to lead business and product strategy and execution for various B2C Programs. Your goal will be to help introduce Zillow products and services to customers and to help these customers transition from a digital experience to one where they have taken the next step in their home buying or selling journey (e.g., touring homes). This involves working cross functionally with product, engineering, marketing, operations, finance, design, sales, and other teams to build products that reinvent the customer experience. You will focus on setting strategic direction, managing end-to-end programs, and be accountable to short and long-term business results.
As a Director of Program Management, you will:
Define the business strategy including near-term improvements and longer-term investments
Articulate the program design to capitalize on these opportunities, author the strategic business case, develop operational plans, and test and refine them until they are ready for national launch.
Define business requirements for product/engineering related to the programs you manage
Manage trade-offs across product, engineering, ops and sales teams.
Manage program performance vs. targets and lead business review meetings on a weekly basis. Lead program share-outs to senior leaders on a weekly or monthly basis.
Develop and support a culture of innovation to constantly test new ideas.
Lead and develop a team of talented program managers.
Who you are
Experience launching products or services for consumers in both the online and offline space Outstanding strategic and analytical abilities, including financial acumen
Track record of making change happen through teamwork
Experience successfully running a complex business or program with P&L ownership
Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to think big and move fast
Has comfort charting a new course, confidence in the face of ambiguity, a bias toward action.
10+ years of experience in some combination of strategy, program, or product management
5+ years of experience managing teams.
Bachelor’s degree and MBA prefer
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $181,000.00 – $289,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
