Job DescriptionThe Account Executive, Partnerships will support the day-to-day management of select clients’ sponsorship development, activation and experiential marketing initiatives across our sports sponsorship portfolio. Specifically, this position will partner with the Manager to develop strategy, planning, activation and execution efforts around investments mainly within fitness/lifestyle properties, inclusive of golf, running, surf, and outdoor.Responsibilities:Day-to-day support of client’s sponsorship activation and experiential marketing initiatives across our sports sponsorship portfolio and strategic partners.Interact daily with client and all appropriate agencies/properties to support sponsorship programming initiativesParticipate in the development and implementation of sponsorship initiatives against the established sponsorship criteria.Participate in overall strategic brand planning against core passion points, as well as opportunities aligned with brand objectives enhancing activation with current properties and assets.Coordinate and manage activation programming with current client agency partners (advertising, Media, PR, etc.)Manage the client-vendor relationships, including teams and leagues, and coordinate necessary activation plans to fully leverage assets on behalf of clientLiaise/interface with external properties and internal WME|IMG divisions as necessary to:Help prepare sponsorship business plans (with the Manager and Director)Work with client business units to help achieve sales and sponsorship marketing objectives, as appropriateDevelop/implement programs on behalf of business units in connection to client’s sponsorship platformsSupport the creation and implementation of materials to support individual sponsorship initiatives. This will include, but not be limited to, development of creative elements, preparing marketing activation presentations, securing approvals from rights-holders, distribution of materials to the clientSupport the sponsorship audit, sponsorship measurement and return on investment process that the client develops in conjunction with the agency account teamServe as a member of on-site event marketing teams to support sponsorship tactical implementation at all events where agency staff is neededEducation and Skills:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 2-3 years of agency or client-based sponsorship account experience in the sports and entertainment industries (specific disciplines could include, sponsorship marketing, event marketing, media sales and media buying)League/team experience and understanding of the business of sports, sports media and sports marketing/sponsorship specifically highly preferred; specifically in active lifestyle/health & wellness propertiesProven experience with development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategies on behalf of clients/companiesPrior experience with day to day relationship management of clients, agencies and vendorsManage implementation of sponsorship marketing strategiesPractical experience with on-site event marketing operations and logisticsAbility to think strategically and creativelyAbility to problem-solve independently and in groupsExcellent time management, written and oral communication skillsAbility to travel 30% of the timeProficient in MS Office Suite160/90 is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
