Our Headquarters office located in Plymouth, MN is looking for a Sales & Marketing Specialist, Custodial Referral Programs who will be responsible for partnering with our sales team, working to promote and sell Wealth Enhancement Group s financial advice solutions to prospective clients referred by our custodial partners, to provide marketing direction and support. They serve as the first point of contact for marketing activity in their assigned regions for both sales and custodial reps.

Key Functions

Marketing strategy & event execution

• Coordinates marketing strategy with sales reps in assigned regions
• Executes on business development & prospecting events in assigned regions
• Works with Sales & Marketing Coordinators on event planning logistics
• Manages event & speaker schedules to meet needs & deadlines of assigned region
• Ensures compliance approval of event materials
• Manages regional marketing event budgets

Relationship management

• Develops a strong working connection with sales reps in assigned regions
• Creates and maintains a regional network of external partner contacts
• Provides proactive service to external partner contacts to support marketing events
• Proficient knowledge of Wealth Enhancement s planning services
• Excellent knowledge of Wealth Enhancement s suite of sales & marketing collateral

Program rules, systems & reporting

• Maintains strong knowledge of program-specific systems & rules of engagement
• Provides data management & systems support to sales reps in assigned regions
• Coordinates campaign setup & response data management within our CRM system
• Reviews regional CRP reporting weekly to validate accuracy
• Distributes regional program results to external partners monthly or as requested
• Reports on the effectiveness of regional & national marketing activity to sales leadership quarterly, or as requested

Team support

• Coordinate & run regional marketing meetings with sales reps
• Meeting & schedule coordination for training, program management & other meetings

Willingness to travel 10-15%

Education & Skills

• 4-year degree in marketing, business or related
• 2-4 years of marketing or event management experience
• 2+ years customer service or relationship management experience
• Some experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
• Well organized, excellent attention to detail, including basic proofreading
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proficiency with MS Office programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn about – and work compliantly within – the financial services industry
• Must be in good compliance standing with all rules, regulations and policies

ADA Requirement

This position requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, lift at least 15 pounds, file documents in high or low cabinets, to use the telephone and to use the computer systems.
