JOB SUMMARY
Ideal candidate should have prior experience in the transportation field, strong organizational skills, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Process and dispatch transfer truck each morning
- Backup to dispatcher
- Schedule carriers for inbound freight
- Approve freight invoices
- Schedule LTL pick up for delivery
- Reconcile fuel purchases
- Trip report entry
- Monitor and print warehouse transfers
- Process month end paperwork
- Assist with driver files
- Scale trucks in and out for bulk deliveries
- Process bulk load paperwork
- Assist with other duties in Transport Department as needed
- Assist in company store when time permits
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience/Education
– Basic math skills
- -High School degree or equivalent
- -Prior experience in transportation field preferred

Personal Protective Equipment Required for this position
Steel toed safety shoes are required in the warehouse at all times.
