Overview:
The My Choice program of Seven Hills Rhode Island is an authorized fiscal intermediary program of the RI Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals. The program allows for people with disabilities and their families to self-direct and control their supports, services, and lives. The intent of the model is to assist each person to develop and maintain their independence in a person-centered plan. My-Choice is built to fulfill the core values of Self-Determination: Freedom – Authority – Support – Responsibility – Confirmation.
The FI Account Manager is responsible for onboarding new clients for the My Choice program and managing the participants’ account and budget information. This is a part time, 20 hour per week position with a flexible schedule
Responsibilities:
Work with program director in order to successfully set up new clients for My Choice Program and ensure all necessary paperwork is collected and processed
Complete forms/phone calls from State of RI for TDI, Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment Claims
Initiate Quarterly Budget notifications to each client outlining annual budgeted funds authorized versus amount spent. Answer client inquiries regarding budgeted amounts and monitor clients who are close to exhausting their allotted allocations.
Work directly with Program Manager on inquiries around budgeted authorizations and spending.
Cancel and discharge clients leaving the My Choice program from the RI Business License, W/C policies, and American Payroll Company.
Process staff changes such as new direct deposit information, address changes, wage changes, and lost checks
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree preferred
Two years related experience
Strong oral and communication skills and attention to detail required.
Demonstrated computer skills including data entry
Driver’s license required.
