We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Operations Manager to monitor our Agency’s functions and build processes that meet our business needs. Business Operations Manager responsibilities include developing systems for improved efficiencies, performing cost-benefit analyses, and carrying out normal business-related activities. To be a successful Business Operations Manager, you should have experience in the same or similar role, managing a variety of business operations with demonstrated success. You should have proven leadership skills and be able to communicate the vision of the company across all levels. Ultimately, you will ensure that all business functions are in line with our strategic goals in support of the mission of our agency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Partner with management and support a small team of busy professionals in a time-sensitive environment to improve systems, operational functions, efficiencies, and compliance to policies & procedures
· Manage purchasing and procurement of business-related materials, supplies & services in compliance with federal, state or other policies and procedures
· Manage to a budget, track expenses, and report accordingly to upper management in a routine and timely manner
· Adhere to legal and safety requirements to make sure activities remain compliant (OSHA/BOLI/Federal)
· Conduct systems & operations reviews across programs to streamline processes, improve compliance, and create efficiencies; inform on gaps, barriers, strengths, and opportunities
· Contributes to team efforts/agency mission by accomplishing related results as needed; Consider the needs of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new strategic plans
· Oversee logistics and supply inventory (multiple sites) & distribution across regions & programs (no warehouse or forklift at this time)
· Oversee other necessary business operations related to leases, insurance, procurement, vendor management, work orders, support services, etc.
· Represent the Agency as needed for business related purposes
· Ensure all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards
· Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures
· Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise
· Evaluate and manage safety issues related to building security and compliance
· Build processes that meet our business objectives and ensure compliance
Qualifications/Skills:
· A minimum of Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ proven experience in business operations management role or very similar combination of education/experience
· Good knowledge of operations management
· Experience with databases and project management software
· The ability to interpret financial data and allocate budgets
· Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to manage conflict
· Can get things done; highly motivated; self-starter
· Resourceful; able to figure things out
· Able to read, comprehend and communicate policies & procedures
· Legitimately able to work well with people
· Ability to use logic and analytics to problem-solve and evaluate
· Capable of thinking creatively within parameters
· Ability to coordinate & work effectively across teams to maintain operational controls
· A genuine interest in supporting Maslow Project’s mission
Additional Requirements:
· A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Ability to work in a variety of conditions: at home, at the offices, on-location
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, sit, stand, walk for periods of 2 hours or more
· Able to pass drug screen and criminal background check (remain drug free during employment)
· COVID vaccinated (or approved exception) and able to comply with workplace safety measures
