Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Collection Specialist
Explore your passion for mental health while being part of an innovative community that’s transforming the delivery of mental health care.
In this role, you’ll oversee all things financial and benefits-related for our members, and you’ll be their point of contact for answering questions and working through payment issues. You’ll work to ensure a member’s eligibility and benefits, ensure all payments for services are investigated appropriately, and that claims are paid and payments posted accurately.
This is a full-time, hourly position.
What you’ll do
- Verify a member’s insurance and benefits eligibility to ensure proper billing, including a member’s cost share, and update across systems, as well as communicate clearly with the member their financial obligation
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of customer service work experience.
- Experience with medical billing, cash posting, and charge entry (preferred).
- Call center work experience
- Active medical coding certification
- Bonus points: experience working in a medical office, experience with Salesforce and familiarity with HIPAA
What you’ll receive
- This position has an hourly rate of $16-18 depending on experience
