Responsibilities:

Provide tactical and administrative support to the Talent Business Partners
Serve as first point of contact for routine Talent inquiries
Take responsibility for offboarding employees, as needed, including notifying stakeholders of departing employees, completing exit interviews, and ensuring correct payment and paperwork has been completed and filed.
Assist in the evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals
Analyze data and make recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement
Respond to employee relation issues such as complaints, harassment allegations, and performance issues
Participate in team (Talent Management and OSD) meetings and attend other meetings, as required
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
Prepare, update, and maintain Employee Handbook and assist in the development and implementation of Talent policies and procedures
Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
Participate in various Talent programs such as PowerHealth and DE&I initiatives
Support the CAN Regional Manager with onboarding new hires, benefits and leave administration, PTO, etc. and reporting.
Maintain regional intranet page with current and relevant content
Qualifications:

Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree required
2+ years of relevant HR experience
Professional Human Resources Certification preferred (required after 2 years)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, as well as solid follow-through abilities
Detail-oriented with very strong organizational skills
Able to work both independently and collaboratively, as a part of the larger Talent team
Uses appropriate discretion and maintains confidentiality
Consistently demonstrates credibility and ethical/professional conduct
Can successfully manage multiple/competing priorities
Intermediate-level proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite
Able to travel, as required
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro) or other HRIS systems
Knowledge of human resource reporting, compliance, and record keeping requirements
Employee benefits knowledge and benefits administration experience (U.S. and Canada)
Knowledge of provincial Canadian legislation a plus
