Founded in 1974, Medical City Dallas is recognized for its state-of-the-art medical facilities and commitment to excellence in patient care. Operating within our 801-bed tertiary care center, our medical team consists of more than 1,500 physicians, many of whom are recognized as the world’s best in their specialties. Patients travel to Medical City from all over the United States and more than 75 other countries for the sophisticated treatment offered by our 400+ in-house physician specialists. Medical City offers a full-service adult hospital and pediatric hospital, with separate adult and pediatric emergency rooms, as well as numerous outpatient clinics and diagnostic centers. The Administrative Coordinator provides excellent customer service in the Human Resources department. This position supports high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of clerical services integral to daily HR department operations.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
Welcome visitors appropriately and answer any questions.
Provide resources for assistance or field questions to the appropriate person.
Provides an overall welcoming first impression and ensures the reception area is organized.
Must be able to perform ad hoc administrative duties as needed.
Supply acquisition and records management organizational skills.
Ability to recommend changes to improve performance
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
2 years of applicable experience
