The company seeks a strategic and innovative leader that will lead the design, development and analysis of total rewards strategies and supporting programs to ensure our strategy and programs meet the unique challenges of Disney’s diverse portfolio of industries in which our colleagues work across the globe.
Responsibilities :
Lead and develop a global team of highly motivated total rewards professionals
Engages the Company’s Board of Directors and Compensation Committee, in partnership with the Chief Human Resources Officer, to discuss new strategies and key decision-making related to executive compensation and new programs
Develops and executes global Benefits strategy that keeps the company competitive and progressive
Develops and nurtures influential relationships with key operational business and functional leaders so that strategies reflect the needs of the many constituents at the company
Works closely with Finance leaders to ensure effective decision-making and finances are in
place for all Compensation and Benefits elements, inclusive of bonus and stock programs
Leads and influences a team of compensation and benefits professionals towards common objectives and outcomes that meet the needs of each business at the company, and the company in its entirety
Acts as a steward of the employee and Cast experience of The Walt Disney Company, ensuring that all Compensation & Benefits programs align to company values and drives the desired employment experience, unique to Disney
Innovates, as a matter of practice, in order to attract and retain the world’s best talent
Basic Qualifications :
Minimally 15 years experience in senior Human Resources roles, with at least 10 years leading teams
Experience leading the total rewards, compensation and benefits functions in a large, complex global company
Proven ability to identify and solve complex total rewards issues and deliver market-leading solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience with Boards of Directors and Compensation Committees
Proven leadership in driving highly competitive Benefits strategies
Experience in a union environment
Comfortable with leading and influencing through collaboration
Skillfully navigates through complex organizations
Motivates and focuses teams that report both directly and indirectly to her/him
Masterfully communicates complex and ambiguous concepts in a simple, straightforward fashion
Displays contemporary knowledge of compensation and benefits philosophy, practices, trends and regulations
Positions compensation strategy in the context of broader HR and Company strategy
Develops people to meet their potential
