About the role:
We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to provide HR oversight within our organization. This is a stand-alone role critical to the daily functions of the business, having a high level of visibility to executive Management that reports to the Director of Operations.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the achievement of resource objectives of the company by delivering a high quality and comprehensive HR plan. The understanding of significance and consequences of advice given to Management must be understood and the use of appropriate judgement in deciding how to handle issues themselves, seek legal guidance or seek guidance from a Company Director is of utmost importance.

Main Responsibilities:
Operational
· Provide comprehensive HR support to the Senior Management Team.
· Take ownership of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, inductions and leavers
· Manage all aspects of employee relations, behaviour and capability with the aim of early intervention, seeking legal guidance where required
· Ensure all policies are fit for purpose and in line with employment law and best practice – Liaise with legal representatives and communicate changes as required.
· Manage company holidays, communicate potential issues as and when arise
· Manage company benefits
· Manage statutory inspections & planned maintenance
· Ensure all policies and practices are up to date with regulations
· Investigate all accidents and incidents making recommendations to prevent / reduce recurrences
· To organize and co-ordinate all training
People
· Be the first point of contact for all HR related issues
· Contributing to the development of employee relations and establishing a good working relationship with managers. This includes advising on the handling of disciplinary and grievance matters, assisting with case preparation and representing HR as a panel member at hearings. Also responsible for the preparation of paperwork for Employment Tribunal cases as required and attending hearings.
· Contributing towards the communication of and implementation of changes
Financial
· Oversee recruitment costs, with the aim of keeping to a minimum
· Participate in salary, bonus and benefit reviews
PA / Office Management
· Provide PA support to the CEO and Senior Management
· Support with the day to day running of the office
Other
· Prioritize own workload.
· Set a good example regarding timekeeping and punctuality.
· Work unaided, whilst playing a critical role in a small team.
· Communicate effectively and positively.
· Any other reasonable request.
