Major Job Responsibilities
The Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements company programs and policies including staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training programs for all levels of staffing.
Human Resources Manager Job Responsibilities:
· Ensures all pre-employment requirements such as interviews, drug tests, background checks and reference checks are completed in a timely manner.
Human Resources Manager Qualifications / Skills:
· A positive attitude, with the ability to influence change
· Recruiting and onboarding employees
· Perform human resources management
· Manage benefits administration
· Establish performance management programs
· Perform compensation and wage structure recommendations
· Thorough knowledge of employment laws
· Knowledgeable on federal and state Laws against sexual harassment
· Skilled in organization development
· Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
· Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
· Familiar with Microsoft Office programs and IQMS payroll and HR system or the ability to learn
Education and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required
· 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
· 3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
· 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
· PHR/SPHR certificate preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
